I finally mailed in my student visa application. I should feel relieved, but I'm not. I'm not going to feel relieved until I officially get the visa. Until then, I'm going to worry that something is wrong with my application and they'll send it back to me. But who knows -- maybe everything will work out perfectly.
Wouldn't that be nice?

I still need my Student Visa...
Welcome to my New Zealand blog! This is the place where I'll be updating everyone about the happenings over the next several months. I still have a ways to go before I'm in NZ, but every day I'm getting just a little more prepared. I think...
Today I realized I filled out my Student Visa application completely wrong. I re-printed the thing and did it over. Unfortunately, there are still some questions I don't know how to fill out. On top of that, my AHA advisor is out of her office until December 29th. And on top of all of that, I just realized that the University of Otago spelled my name wrong on the Offer of Place letter (they spelled Christina with two N's -- Christinna).
This is why procrastination is bad. Very bad. I still have two months to clear up this mess, but now I feel pressured, rushed, and a little stressed. I'm just going to keep telling myself that everything's going to be fine and I'll get the visa in time. Right? Right.
But hey! At least I'm home in Hawaii and the weather's nice. Well, sort of...
It's true. The weather's been off and on. Rainy and then sunny and then rainy again. At least I missed out on the flooding.
Oh, I also found out my housing is going to be $500.00 cheaper than I anticipated(!) You can bet I'm excited about that :D. That is great news. I've also been trying to find one of my roommates on Myspace/Facebook, but I haven't had any luck yet.
I guess I just might have to resort to e-mailing her. Yikes.
